Petitions of John Hanson< no role > & Nathll. Goldham< no role > for
the Beadles Place vacant by the Death of John Smith< no role > . And the
said John Banson< no role > was Chosen during the Pleasure of this
Comittee or the Genall Court

Mr Trear Acquainted the Comittee That the Hospitall
has been very much Disturbed by One John Stockdon< no role > , A
Seaman Sent into the Hospitall by the Comrs. of Sick & wounded
who fell into Distraction to a Very Violent Degreeing house
And that the Comrs. have Neglected to take him away tho'
due Applicacon has been made for that purpose. And the
Governs. of Bethlem Hospitall have refused to Admitt him
there by reason of some Demand which they have upon the
said Comrs. which remaines unsatisfyed. Whereupon
It is Ordered That for Easing the Hospitall at present
& preventing the like Disturbance & Inconveniency for the
time to come it be represented to the Comrs. That the Govrs.
Expect the said John Stockdon< no role > should be forthwith taken
from the Hospital And that no Person shall be Admitted
from Them for the time to Come without Security to be Given by
some Pticular Pson.

Agreed to Lett the Great Vault under the North Side of
the First Court of the Hospital with the Passage out of the
Burrough to John Violett< no role > & John Galton< no role > , Att £12: P Ann from
Midsr: next With an Excon of Libty for the Emptying the
Privy or Vault of the house of Easemt. (made in this Vault)
when Occasions shall require thro' this Vault into the Street
They are to take a Lease of this Vault & the Other 2 Vaults
which They held already from the Hospital at £28:
P Ann, if they shall by Midsumer find this Vault to be
propper for their service And They are then to propose to be
propper for their Service And They are then to propose wt.
Terme the Lease shall be for And Mr Galton informing
the Comittee That Mr Violett has been Taxed 40s: P Ann
for sevall years to the Poor of St: Thomas' Pish in respect
of the said Vaults Which he now holds And the Comittee
being of Opinion That the said Vault ought not to be
Assessed to the Poor, in regard They are under the Scite
of the Hospital Which is Extraparochial Mr: Trearer is
therefore Desired to speak to the Vestry of the said Pish
That the said Rate may be taken off.
