The Peticon of Mrs: Sarah Collyer< no role > Widdow &
Executrix of Mr: Henry Collyer< no role > our late Tennt.
of the Marsh Grounds & others Lands and
Tenemt. at Alvethley in Essex was Read
praying that She maymightbe Excused from
Building of the House on the Uplands, wherein
£500: was to be laid out by her late Husbands
Covent. in the Lease Or some other Consideracon
had of the Great & fun [..] seen Charges which her late Husbd:
was put to in the Making of A New Marsh Wall &
otherwise relating to the sd Lands.

Whereupon this Comittee having Debated
& Considered the Case, and severall of the Members
of this Comittee, who have Viewed the sd Estate,
now informing this Comittee, That as Mr: Collier
hath been at [..] the Charge of Putting the
Marsh foot House into Good Repaire, & Making it
fitt for Habitacon, which at the time of the
Granting his Lease was in a very Ruinous
Condicon, and as that House stands in the Most
Convenient Place for Over looking the Marsh
Grounds which is the most Valueable part of the
Estate, And there being Three other Housesupo
already upon the Uplands, One of which is scituate
neare Alvethley Church, and is a Large Farme House
withhaving Barns Stables & other Out houses belonging
thereunto, and lyes very comodiously for the
Greatest part of the sd Uplands, which are now
Lett by the sd Mrs: Collier to One Mr: Church, who
Dwells in the sd House, They think that the
Building of another House upon the Uplands
will rather be a Barthen then an Advantage
to the sd Estate, And this Comittee apprehending
that the Reason why the sd Mr. Collier was
