Mr: Trear Reported the Veiw & Sales of Underwoods at Hastingleigh
& Combe, by himself Sr. James Collett< no role > , Mr Lyde Mr: Cole and Mr. Mount
which the Comittee well liked, & approved.

at Alvethley .}


The Court for Alvethley Mannor to be deferred till Spring, And Ordered
that Mr Collyer have the Use of the Markett House during the pleasure of
the Governrs: He keeping it in Repaire, and Printting all Publick Uses.

Mr. Trear Reported veiw of Two Houses at Bully Hill, in Rochester , the
Lease whereof hath been lately purchased by Dr. Coney, That they
find the Houses are very Old, & may be fitt to be Rebuilt, and that
the Improved value is about £16 P Ann, it pays £8 P Ann: Ground Rent:

Dr. Coney desires to have a Lease for 61 yeares, granted of the said Two
Houses to Comence from Lady day next upon Surrending, his Prsent Lease
wherein were Ten Yeares & a Quarter to Come at Michas last, and proposes
to layout £800: in Building of a New Brick House on part of the prmisses
within Three Yeares, Agreed it shall be Reported to the Generall Court as
the Opinion of this Comittee That the Dr. should have a Lease granted
to him accordingly at the Old Ground Rent of £8. P Ann: He paying £100
as a fine before Xtmas next, and laying out £800: in Building of a
New Brick House on part of the prmisses within Three Yeares.

He put 2 Guineys into the poors

Agreed with Henry Bamfield< no role > to Grant him a Lease of the Ground lyeing
in the intended New Street between the Crosse Alley & the Maze Pond
containing about 131 foot in length and about 25 foot in breadth: Exclusive
of the intended Street, which is designed to be about 18: foot Broad for
51 Yeares from Lady day next at £8:16s: P Ann: He is to Take downe the
Old Buildings & sett out the Street in such manner, as shall be directed
by the Governors before Michas next, and to layout £300 in Building
of Three or more New Brick Houses upon the said Ground within Five
Yeares after Lady day next, the Timber to be of good hantlings, He is
to have the Old Buildings to his own Use.

He put 5 into the Poors Box.

Mr. Ferne recomended to
Cutt of the Stone.}


Agreed That Mr. Ferne be Recomended to the Generall Court to be
Appointed One of the Surgeons for Cutting for the Stone.
