Mr: Trear Reported from the Sub Comittee to whom
it was Referred to consider abt: the Erecting of
Sr. Robt. Claytons Statue in some convenient places
in this Hospll: That the sd Comittee had mett &
Consulted with Workemen abt: the same And are
of Opinion that thesame should beStatue should
be of Marble, and should be sett up upon a
Pedestall of marblemarble and Stone in the middle of the lower
Quadrangle if this Hospll: which this Comittee
approved of and Ordered should be forthwith
done accordingly And it is Referred back to
the same Sub Comittee to Treat & Agree with a
Statuary & other Workemen for the Speeds
Making & Setting up the sd Statue:
The Clerke to Sue for
Arreares of Quitt Rents.}
The Comittee being accquainted, that the Quitt
Rents of the severall mannor: belonging to this Hospll:
are very much in Arreare, some for Twenty some
for 30: yeares
amountingand that at Michas 1700
there was £390: or upwards due, great part whereof
will be in danger of being Loss if not Speedily looked
after It is thereupon Ordered that the Clerke of this
Hospll: doe forthwith take the Necessary Care to
Renever
