To the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Paul, Covent-Garden , within the
Liberty of Westminster , in the County of Middlesex ,
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields
in the County of Middlesex

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us, whose Names are there
unto set, and Seals affixed, being two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace in and for the City and Liberty of Westminster aforesaid (one whereof
being of the Quorum) by the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Paul, Covent Garden , That:
Ansteas Kavanah< no role > wife of Peter Kavanah< no role >
who hath deserters her and her Child Ann< no role > aged
five years and upwards
have lately intruded and come into the said Parish of Saint Paul,
Covent Garden , and are actually become chargeable to the same: Due the
said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon the Examina-
tion of the said Ansteas Kavanah
upon Oath, as other Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true, and
do also adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said Ansteas
Kavanah and her said Child Ann
to be in the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields
in the County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to require you the Church-
warden and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Paul, Covent
Garden , on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the said Ansteas
Kavanah and her said Child Ann
from and out of your said Parish of Saint Paul, Covent Garden , to the said
Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields and them
deliver unto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to
some or one of them, together with this our Order, or a true Copy thereof,
who are hereby required to receive and provide for them
according to Law.

Given under our Hands and Seals, this Twenty third Day of
September One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Nine
