I Hope the under written will give
excuse for my Boldness in Addressing
you at this time but being rather
under an Obligation on Account of the
Great Disstress I am now under
Occassion'd by the Late Prossecution
which took Place in Last January

and my Family to the Greatest Disstress
and Poverty the Little Trade I now have
being quite at a Stop, has there is a
Bill due to me on the County for the
Supplementary Militia Business (has
Constable of the Parish of baking Lower
side) has it is Delivered in at the
Quarter Sessions, Should esteem it
a Particular Favour, If you will use
Your Influence for the Payment of the
Same which with be a means of
resuing a Family from the Jaws of
of Ruin and will ever be Remembered
