By Adjournment Thursday 15th February 1798

Resolved That it be referred to the Committee to cause a Plan
or Plans to be made and laid before the Court on the County day of the
next Session of what they may Consider the most proper sort of House
to be provided for the use of the Governor of the House of Correction together
with an Estimate of the Expence attending the Execution thereof
Resolved it is Expedient that there should be an outward Communication
from such House independent of the General Entrance into the Prison

By Adjournment Thursday 19th. April 1798.

Resolved That the House for the Governor of the House of Correction
be Executed under the direction and inspection of Mr. Rogers the County
Surveyor and that as a Part of the Work manship is intended to be perform'd
by the Prisoners in the House of Correction That Mr. Rogers be allowed
his Commission on the sum of £650 being the Gross amount of the Estimate
including the Work proposed to be done by the Prisoners.

By Adjournment Thursday 24th May 1798.

Ordered That the sum of £200 be paid to Mr. Hinley to be applied to the
Discharge of the Work men employed about the Governors House of the new
House of Correction Cold Bath Fields .

By Adjournment Thursday 13th September 1798

Resolved That it be recommended to the Prison Committee to inspect
the New House building for the Governor of the House of Correction and to
Report to the Count what Alterations have been made therein from the
Plan approused of by the Court and also the probable amount thereof
and by whose Order the same has been done.
