MIDDLESEX .


At the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the Said
County,() on Monday
the Eighteenth Day of Febuary
in the thirty ninth year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc. Before (William Mainwaring< no role > William

Esquires and others their Fellows, Justices of our Said
Lord the King, Assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid : and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the Same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Opverseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Luke
Chelsea in the Said County Have at this present Session Exhibited their
Petition and appeal Setting forth That by virtue of a pass Warrant or order
under the Hands and Seals of H Reynett doctor in divinity and Daniel
Williams
< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and for the
said County (one whereof being of the quorum ) bearing date the Fifth day of
January now last Past Mary Beardshaw< no role > Singlewoman and her Female Child
Vizt. Mary < no role > aged about Three Months for nurture was removed and conveyed
from and out of the Parish of St. Mary Whitechapel in the Said County to the said
Parish of St. Luke Chelsea as the Place of the Last Legal Settlement of the Said Mary
Beardshaw
< no role > ; whereby thew Petitioner conceived themselves to be aggrieved

Now, upon hearing the Said Appeal, and what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses
in and concerning the Premises. IT IS ORDERED, thar the Said Appeal be, and the
Same is hereby dismissed, and that the said Order of the Said two Justices be, and the Same is
hereby confirmed; Abd IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea do maintain
and Provide for the Said Mary Beardshaw< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due Course of Law.
