The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell
in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of R Davis Esqr . and H Reynett
Esqr.at D. two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
said County of Middlesex bearing date the 7th
Decr. last Mary Swift< no role > Wife of Edward Swift< no role > who is [..]
Sea and their Child Carolina < no role > were removed from
the Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel in the County
of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell
as the place of their last legal Settlement

That your Petitioners conceiveing
themselves aggrieved by the said Warrant
or order de Humbly appeal against the
same And pray that your Worships will
be pleased to appoint a day in this
present Sessions that all parties
concerned may attend to hear and abide
the judgment and Determination of
this Court touching the Said Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
