To the right worshipful his Majesty's
Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter
Sessions of the peace assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
parish of Saint Mary Islington in the said
County of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by an Order under the hands and seals of William
Bleamire
< no role > and Henry Kinnard< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys
Justices of the peace for the said County of Middlesex bearing
date the third day of October one thousand seven hundred
and ninety eight Harriett Jarrett< no role > with her two Children Vizt.
John< no role > aged two years and William< no role > aged eight Months have
been removed from the parish of Saint James at
Clerkenwell in the said County of Middlesex to the aforesaid
parish of Saint Mary Islington in the said County of
Middlesex

That your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved by the
said Order and therefore humbly appeal against the same
and pray that this worshipful Court will please to appoint
some day in the present Session for hearing and determining
the said Appeal and that all persons concerned do then
attend this Court.

At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our
Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex
at the Session House on Clerkenwell Green in the
said County on Monday the 22d. day of October
in the 38th. year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the third King of Great Britain Etc

It is ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell in the
County of Middlesex have Notice of this Appeal and that
they and all persons concerned do attend this Court at the
Sessions house aforesaid on thursday the 25th. day of this
instant October at nine o' Clock in the forenoon of the
same day to hear and abide the Judgment and determination
of the said Court touching the said Appeal
