Whereas Esther Fry< no role > in her Examination taken in Writing the
Twenty ninth day of December last before Millington Buckley< no role >
Clerk one of his Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for
the said county did declare that she was then with child
and that the Child or Children which she then went and
and was pregrant were likely to be Born Bastard or
Bastard and to be chargeable to the said Parish of saint
Mary le Bone and further thirt Richard Barber< no role > Butler to
Mr Clarke of Fiefton Street in the Parish of St George Hanover
Square in the said County was the real and true Father
of the said Child or children so likely to ber Born And
Whereas the said Richard Barber< no role > did in consequence thereof
enter into Recognizance with sufficient sureties to abide and
Peform such order as should be made in pursuance of an
Act of the 18th. Year of the Reign of her late Majesty Queen
Elizabeth And whereas the said Esther Fry was deliverd
of a Male Bastard Child in the Work house of the said
Parish of St Mary le bone on the seventh day of April last
baptized William< no role > These are to certify his Majestys
Justices of her Peace at their General Session of the peace
for this County that the said Richard Barber< no role > hath clearly
indemnified and exanerdted the said Parish of St Mary le
Bone for and on Account all and all manner of Expences
Which have been incurred by reason of the Maintenance and
lying in of the said Esther Try and all other Expences
relative thereto Witness and Hands this 25th day of May
1798 .
