To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in
Session of the Peace in and for the said
County assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal
of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in the
said County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by an Order under the Hands and Seals
of Thomas Bishop< no role > and Edward Hilliard< no role > Esquires two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
said County of Middlesex (one being of the Quorum)
bearing date the Fifteenth Day of January last John
Coxall
< no role > and his wife named Hannah< no role > and their Four
Children vizt Mary< no role > aged Twelve Years, Charlotte< no role > aged Six
Years, John< no role > aged Two years and a Male Child near a Year
old not yet christened were removed from the Town of
Uxbridge in the said County to the said Parish of Saint
James Clerkenwell as the Place of his the said John
Coxall
< no role > 's legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves aggrieved and against the said Order
do appeal

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
pray that a Day may be appointed
in the next General Session to hear and
determine the Matter of the said Appeal.
