To the CHURCHWARDENS and OVERSEERS of the POOR of the Parish
of EALING , in the County of MIDDLESEX , and to the
CHURCHWARDENS and OVERSEERS of the POOR of the Parish
of Hanwell in the County of
Middlesex and to each and every of them.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Ealing , have made Complaint unto us whose Names are
hereunto set and Seals affixed, Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in
and for the said County of Middlesex , one of us being of the Quorum, that
William Cooper< no role > and Hannah< no role > his Wife
and their Hour Children namely, Martha< no role >
aged Ten Years and upwards, Sarah< no role > aged
Five Years or thereabouts, Thomas< no role > aged
three Years and upwards and Ann< no role > aged
twelve Months or thereabouts do

inhabited in the said Parish of Ealing , not having gained a legal Settlement
therein; and that the said William Cooper< no role > and Hannah
his Wife and their said Hour Children
are
become actually chargeable to the said Parish of Ealing . WE the said
Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon the Examination of the
said William Cooper< no role > upon Oath
as otherwise, and likewise upon due Consideration had of the Premises, do
adjudge the same to be true; and we do likewise adjudge, that the lawful
Settlement of them the said William Cooper< no role > and
Hannah his Wife and their said four Children,
the said Martha one of the said Children not
having gained any other than her parental
Settlement
is in the said Parish of Hanwell in the said
County of Middlesex WE do therefore
hereby require you the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Ealing , or some or one of you, to convey the said William
Cooper
< no role > and Hannah his Wife and their
said four Children
from and out of your said Parish of Ealing , to the said Parish of
Hanwell and them to deliver to the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with
this our Order, or a true Copy thereof: And we do also hereby require you
the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
Hanwell to receive and provide for them as Inhabitant of
your Parish Given under our Hands and Seals the Eighth
Day of February in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven
Hundred and Ninety eight
