Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Anne Middlesex

the County aforesaid
Sheweth
That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of

Esquires
two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
in and for the County
of Middlesex
aforesaid (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date
the twenty third day of January in the year of our Lord and
thousand seven hundred and ninety eight

was removed
and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint George
Middlesex
in the said County to the said parish of Saint Anne
Middlesex
by the description of
Sarah Anne
Limehouse< no role >
, as the place of the last legal Settlement of the said
John Bird< no role >
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to be
aggrieved.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly beg
Leave to Appeal from the said Order and
pray that the said Appeal may be
saved unto them and that the Hearing
and determining thereof may be adjourned
until the next General Quarter, Sessions of
the Peace to be held for the said County
and that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of Saint George Middlesex
and all
others concerned may be then ordered to
attend and that your Petitioners may
have such Relief herein as to the Court
shall seem meet
