To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of
the Peace acting in and for the County
of Middlesex at their General Quarter
Session of the Peace Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Kensington
in the said County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order of Removal and
the Hands Seals of A: Graham and I: Bond
Esqrs: two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
acting in and for the said County Dated the

day of January last Sarah Holmes< no role > (Wife of
William Holmes< no role > ) and Robert Holmes< no role > her Son were
removed from the Parish of St: John Hamstead
in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish
of Kensington as the place of the last legal
Settlement of her the said Sarah Holmes< no role > and
her said Child whereby your Petitioners conceive
themselves Aggrieved and to Appeal to your
Worships against the said Order

Wherefore Your Petitioners humbly pray
your Worships until be pleasing to appointed
a day in this present Session for the
hearing and determining the said Appeal
and that all Parties concerned may be
Order'd to attend and to abide & perform
such Order as Your Worships shall phase
to make and that Your Worships will
