Middlesex to Wit


Joseph Vaughan< no role > of Ship Yard Temple Bar in the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex Grocer and
John Coleman< no role > of Cursitor Street in the Parish of Saint Andrew
Holborn in the said County of Middlesex Taylor Severally make
Oath and say And first the Deponent Joseph Vaughan< no role > for
himself saith that he this Deponent together with James Price< no role > of
Butcher Row Temple Bar in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in
the County of Middlesex were Jointly Bail for the above named
Defendant William Stidston< no role > on the Prosecution of the said Jacob
Reed
< no role > and his Wife for an Assault And this Deponent Joseph
Vaughan
< no role > for himself further saith that the said Jacob Reed< no role >
and his Wife did on the twenty fourth day of October last of their
our Voluntary and free Will Release and Discharge the said
Defendant William Stidstone< no role > from the said Assault and did at
the same time Sign a paper Writing Signifying such Discharge
in the presence of this Deponent and the said James Price< no role > who
Witnessed the same paper Writing And the Deponent John
Coleman
< no role > for himself Saith that he this Deponent was present
at the House of the said James Price< no role > in Butcher Row aforesaid
on the twenty fourth day of October last when the said Jacob
Reed
< no role > and his Wife the Prosecuters in this Cause agree with
the said Defendant William Stidston< no role > to stop all further
proceedings against him for such Assault in Consideration
of the said Defendant William Stidston< no role > paying to them one
pound and one Shilling And that the said William Stidston< no role > did
in this Deponents presence pay to the said Jacob Reed< no role > and his
Wife one pound and one Shilling and that they there upon Signed
a paper Writing Purporting to be a Discharge from the said
Assault
