Minutes of the Committee appointed to Inspect the
General concerns of the Prisons belonging to this
County held at the new house of correction Cold
Bath Fields on Monday the 5th. day of the February
1798

Mr. Aris having received five Prisoners
from the Kings Bench whom he has hither to
accommodated with Beds at One Gua per week
each desired the opinion of the Committee whether
they might be continued in the same situation
vizt. in the Rooms over the Committee Room
Ordered thay they be permitted to remain in their
present situation as to lodging but with respect
to Provisions the rules and orders of this prison
be strictly observed and that no distinction whatever
be made in the treatment of any of the Prisoners
Confined under Sentence in the place
