The Examination Thomas Emery< no role >

who being upon his Oath saith that about
three Years and a half ago he was bound Apprentice
to Captain John Chivers< no role > of the Mariner
a Trader to the West Indias by Indenture for
the Term of Seven Years who resides at No .27
Stepney [..] Cause way in the Parish of Stepney
in the County of Middlesex and served him for
the space of near three Years and a half under
the said Indenture when being afflicted with Titts
His Master suffered him to go a Large but still
keeps his part of the said Indenture since which
time He the said Thomas Emery< no role > hath done
no act whereby to gain a Subsequent Settlement
in any other Parish or Place whatsoever

5th Day of February 1798}
