To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General
Session of the Peace for the said County Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order
Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals
of John Staples< no role > and Peter Mellish< no role > Esquire
Two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
Acting in and for the County of Middlesex
(One whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
date the 18th day of August 1797 Mary Smith< no role >
was removed and Conveyed from and out
of the Hamlett of Popular and Blackwall
in the County of Middlesex to the said
Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell as the
Place of her last legal Settlement
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves
Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
Appeal to this Court agt the
Adjudication of the said Two Justices
and their said Order and Pray that
Your Worships will be Pleased to
Appoint a Day to hear and determine
the said Appeal

And Your Petitioners will ever Pray & [..]
