To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in their GeneralSession of the Peace
Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Overseers
of the Poor of the Precinct of St. Catherine in
the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Warrant or Order under the
Hands and Seals of John Staples< no role > Esqrs . and Robt. Batson< no role > Esqr .
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said
County of Middlesex bearing date the Eighth day of
August last, Briggs Wickett< no role > and Sarah< no role > his Wife
and their Two Children lawful issue (Namely) Elizabeth< no role >
aged about Ten Years and Mary< no role > aged about Eight Years
were removed from the Parish of St. John of Wapping
in the County of Middlesex to the said Precinct of
Saint Catherine as the place of their last legal
Settlement

That your Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the said Warrant or Order Do
humbly appeal against the same and pray that
your Worships will be pleased to appoint a
Day in this present Sessions, that all Parties
concerned may attend to hear & abide the
Judgment and Determination of this Court touching
the said Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
