of Saint Ann Black friars
in the City of London

Sheweth
That by Virtue of an Order Pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of Nathaniel Conant< no role >
and
Philip Neve< no role >
Esquires
two of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace
in and for the County of Middlesex
(one whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing Date the ninth day of May
1796. George Hook< no role >
was removed and conveyed from
the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields
in the County of
Midldesex and delivered to your Petitioners being the
Church wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Ann Black Friar's
(the said Justices
adjudging that the said Parish of Saint Ann Black Friars
in the said City of London
was the Place of the last
legal Settlement of the said George Hook< no role >
) Whereby
Your Petitioners apprehend themselves to be Aggrieved
Your Petitioners therefore humbly
Appeal against the said Order or Pass warrant and Pray
Reliefin the Premises and that the Benefit of this their
Appeal may be saved into them and that the hearing and
Determination thereof may be adjourned until the next
General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the said
County.
