To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the the County of Middlesex
in their Quarter Session of the Peace
Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of
the parish of Saint Paul Shadwell in
the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant
or Order under the Hands and Seals of C.T
Kirby and J Warner two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace acting in and for the
said County of Middlesex one where of being of the
Quorum) bearing date the 17th day of October
Fors 1796 Mary Wright< no role > the Widow of William
Wright
< no role > and Jane< no role > their Child aged Nine Months
together with her said Husbands two Children
by his former wife deceased (Vizt) John< no role >
aged Twelve Years and William< no role > aged ten
Years were removed and conveyed from and
out of the Parish of Saint John the
evangelist in Westminster to the said
Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell as the
Place of their last legal Settlement

Your Petitioner conceive themselves
aggreived by the adjudication of the said
two Justices therefore humbly appeal
to this Court against the same and
pray your Worships will appoint a
Day in the present Session for hearing
and determining of the said Appeal
