Stairs And this Deponent afterwards heard the said Joseph
Marshall
< no role > enter into the said House by Evening the
Chair which held or fastened the paid Street Door as
this Deponent believes And that he broke open Mrs. Pass
Bed room Door and made a very great noise and
disturbance in the paid House and Continued therein
until the said Mr. Pass came thereto with Officers and
took him before the Magistrate as this Deponent believes
And these Deponent Edward Treadaway< no role > Thomas Mumford< no role >
and Thomas Dyer< no role > for themselves severally say that on
the said twenty fist day of September last they did at
the request of and in Company with the said William
Pass
< no role > go to his said House in little Wild Street and in
the Kitchen thew found the said Joseph Marshall< no role > and these
Deponents having been informed that the said Joseph
Marshall
< no role > has fire Arms about him on searching him
there was found in one of his Pockets a Pistol loaded
with Gunpowder and a leaden Ball and in another pocket
several other leaden Balls with Gunpowder And the said
Joseph Marshall< no role > being asked what he meant to do or
to that effect said and declared in a very resolute and
desperate manner that he came to Kill Mr. Pass ( [..]
the Wife of the said Mr. WilliamifPass)< no role > and that if
he was at liberty whenever he met, her he would Kill her
and that he had come to the House once before with a
Hatchett with intent to kill her or to that effect And
those Deponents further severally say that the said Joseph
Marshall
< no role > being afterwards the same night carried before
the Magistrate sitting at Baw Street aforesaid and
examined on the matters aforesaid he the said Joseph
Marshall
