MIDDLESEX .

At the General quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the said
County, (by adjournment ) on Thursday
the Twenty third Day of June
in the Thirty sixth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Paul Shadwell have at this present
Session, exhibited their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by virtue of a warrant of
order under the Hands and Seals of R. Davies Esqr. and The Revd. H: Reynett
two of His Majestys Justices of the peace acting in and for the County of Middlesex
bearing date the 14th. of May 1796 Gilbert Wardlow< no role > and his wife Eleanor Frances
Wardlow
< no role > and their three Children namely Mary< no role > aged 8 years or thereabouts and
Gilbert< no role > aged 14 Months or thereabouts were removed from the Parish of Saint George
Middlesex to the Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell as the place of the last legal
settlement of the said Gilbert Wardlow< no role > his said Wife and Children, whereby the
Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved

WHEREUPON at the request of the said Petitioners, IT IS ORDERED, That the
benefit of their said Appeal should be saved unto them, and the hearing and determining
thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned until the next GeneralSession
of the Peace to be holden for this County; and on notice hereof in the meantime to be given
unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint George
they and all Persons concerned do attend the Court at the Session House
aforesaid, on Thursday the fifteenth day of September next, at the Hour of
Nine in the Forenoon of the same Day to hear and abide the judgment and determination of
the said Court touching the said Appeal.
