To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the
Peace in and for the County of Middlesex in General
Quarter Session of the Peace for the said County Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Bartholomew the Great in the City of
London

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and
Seals of John Spiller< no role > and George Reid< no role > Esquires two of His Majestys, Justices of
the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the twenty Sixth day of August One thousand seven hundred
and ninety five Sarah White< no role > (whose Husband George White< no role > as alledged
in the said Outer, hath Run away from her) and her two Children to wit
Elizabeth< no role > aged two years and six months and Samuel< no role > aged Eleven
Months were removed and conveyed from and out of the parish of
Isleworth in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint
Bartholomew the Great in the City of London (by the description of
Saint Bartholomew the Great in the County of Middlesex ) as the
Place of the last legal Settlement of the said Sarah White< no role > and her
two Children whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to be
Aggrieved.
