and John Haytes< no role > Sidesmen and Abet
Parish and brief the

Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary-le-bone , in the
County of Middlesex , send greeting. WHEREAS, Arthur Blacket< no role > of
South andley Street in the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square within the Liberty of Westminster Gentleman
hath requested and desired of Us to accept, and take the Sum of Twenty One
Pounds for the Use of the Poor
of our said Parish of St. Mary-le-bone , in lieu, and Stead of Security, to indemnify and
save harmless our said Parish, of, and from the Charge of keeping and maintaining a Two
Two Bastard Child, [..] born of the Body of Elizabeth Gillibrand< no role > on the hamely
Mary Ann< no role > born the Eighth day of October 1789 in the said Parish
St Mary-le-bone , and [..] Susanna< no role > born the Ninth day of May 1791 in the said Parish and that WE,
the said William Morris< no role > John Hayles< no role > and Abel Panchand< no role >
upon the Charge and Maintenance of our said Parish, will put the said Two
Bastard Child. NOW THESE PRESENTS WITNESS, That we the said William
Morris
< no role > John Hayter< no role > and Abel Panchand
for, and in consideration of the Sum of Twenty One Pounds
of lawful Money to Us, in Hand, paid by the said
Arthur Blacket< no role > for the Use of the Poor of our said Parish
of St. Mary-le-bone , at His the said Arthur Blackets
own earnest Request and Desire, the Receipt whereof, WE do hereby acknowledge, and
Ourselves therewith fully satisfied, contended, and paid, HAVE covenanted, undertaken,
promised and agreed, any by these Presents, DO covenant, undertake, promise and agree for
Ourselves and our Successors, to take and put the said Two
Bastard Child ren upon the Charge and Maintenance of our said Parish, and provide for the
same in such Manner, that He the said Arthur Blacket< no role >
shall not at any Time hereafter, be charged, molested, or disturbed, in any wife by Us the said
William Morris< no role > John Hayter< no role > and Abel
Panchand our Partners or Successors, or any or
either of them for upon touching, or concerning the maintaining, cloathing, educating or
providing for in any respect, the said Two Bastard Child ren. In witness whereof,
We have hereunto set our Hands and Seals, this Seventh day of October
17 95.
