MIDDLESEX .


AT the generalSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the said
County, () on Monday
the Sixteenth Day of February
in the Thirty fifth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc. Before William Mainwaring< no role > , William
Bleamire
< no role > , Rupert Clarke< no role > , Hammond Crosse< no role > ,
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid ; and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Christ Church
in the County of Surrey did at the east General Quarter Session of the Peace held in and for
this County Exhibit their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by a certain Order dated the 8th.
day of November 1794 under the Hands and Seals of Paul Vaillant< no role > and W: Heckford Esqrs. two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum)
made on the complaint of the Churchwardens adn Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Isleworth
in the said County of Middlesex one William Ellis< no role > therein named had been removed from
the said Parish of Isleworth to the said Parish of Christ-Church in the said County of Surrey as
his lawful settlement, whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved, which
said Appeal stood duly adjourned until this Session

NOW, upon hearing the said Appeal, and what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parishes, their Counsel and Witnesses in
and concerning the Premises, IT IS ORDERED, that the said Appeal be, and the same is
hereby allowed, and the said Order of the said two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside ;
and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Church Church , Surrey do forthwith convey and
deliver back the said William Ellis< no role >
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Isleworth who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the said William Ellis< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law. And IT is
FURTHER ORDERED, that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Isleworth do forthwith pay or cause to
be paid unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Christ
Church Surrey the Sum of One Pound Seventeen shillings and 6d.
for their Charges and Expences in relieveing and maintaining the said William Ellis< no role > since
his said Removal.
