For an Assault

Richard Rich< no role > of Ebenezer Row in the
Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth in the County
of Surry Labourer the above Defendant
maketh Oath and saith That in or about
the Month of January last past he this
Deponent was indicted by the above named
Prosecutor for an Assault Whereupon Deponent
was taken on a Warrant and entered into Recog-
nizance to appear and plead to the said
Indictment at the then next Session And Deponent
Saith that the said Prosecutor having indicted
Deponent by the Name of John Rich< no role > and
Deponents Name being Richard Rich< no role > he
this Deponent was advised to and did accordingly
appear and plead a Number to the said
Indictment at the said February Session and
Entered into fresh Recognizance to prosecute the
said plea at the then next Session And
Deponent did cause due Notice to be served
on the said Prosecutor of such plea being
