The humble Petition and Appeal of The Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the
parish of Allhallows Barking
in the
City of London
Sheweth
That by virtue of a certain Order or Pass Warrant under the Hand
and Seals of W. Wickham Esquire and The Reverend H. Reynett Clerk
Two of His Majestys Justices of the peace in and for the County of
Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Eighth day
of May One thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety four

who (as alledged in the said Order) hath
deserted and left her and his Children together with her two Children
namely

aged Five Years and
Mary Crutch< no role >
aged fourteen
Months and also
Margaret Crutch< no role >
aged about fourteen Years the lawful
Child of the said Thomas Crutch by his former Wife
Isabella< no role >
deceased,
were removed and conveyed from and out of the
Parish of Saint Mary
White Chapel
in the County of Middlesex
to the said
parish of Allhallows
Barking
in the City of London
as the place of the last legal Settlement
of the said
Elizabeth Crutch< no role >

,
Mary Crutch< no role >
, and
Margaret Crutch< no role >
, whereby Your petitioner apprehend themselves to be
aggrieved
