The Petition of the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of East Barnet within
the Liberty of Saint Alban in the County of Hertford .

Humbly Sheweth

That Ann Lawford< no role > (Widow of William Lawford< no role >
deceased) and her two Children namely John< no role > aged six Years and
upwards and William< no role > aged one year and upwards were by an Order
under the hands and Seals of Edmund Pepys< no role > and Samuel Foyster< no role >
Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for the said
County of Middlesex bearing date the seventeenth day of March One
thousand seven hundred and ninety four Removed to the said Parish
of East Barnet from and out of the Parish of Saint Pancras in the
said County of Middlesex as being the place of their last legal settlement:
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
pray your Worship that the said Order of removal
may be quashed and that the said Church Wardens
and Overseers of the said Parish of East Barnet
may be Reinbursed the Costs and expences
which they have wrong fully in this case Instained

And your Petitioners will ever pray Etc
