of Middlesex in the General Quarter Session of the Peace at the New
Session House Clerkenwell Green assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Paul
Covent Garden within the Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands
and Seals of the Reverend Brackley Kennett< no role > and Richard Ford< no role >
Esqr . two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and for the
City and Liberty of Westminster aforesaid (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the twenty ninth day of January last past
Mary Silley< no role > Singlewoman was removed from the Parish of Saint
Martin in the Fields within the Liberty and County aforesaid to the said
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden as the Place of her last Legal
Settlement whereby your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved and
do Appeal to this Court against the same.

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court that
your Worships will be pleased to appoint a day in
this present Session for the hearing and determining
the said Appeal and that all Persons concerned may
be directed then and there to attend

And Your Petitioners shall every pray Etc
