To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the Peace at the Session House for
the said County assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden Within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands and
Seals of Philip Neve< no role > & Nathaniel Conant< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in & for the said County (one where of being of the
Quorum) bearing date the second day of January instant John Evans< no role >
was removed from the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the said County
to the said Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden as the Place of his last
Legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved and do
Appeal to this Court against the same

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court that your
Worships will be pleased to save the benefit of their Appeal
and to adjourn the hearing and determining thereof until
the next General Session of the Peace to be holden in & for
the said County And that all Persons concerned may be
directed then and there to attend

And your Petitioners shall every pray Etc
