To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex assembled at the General Quarter Session
of the Peace for the said County on Clerkenwell Green in the Month
of April 1794

The Humble Petition and Appeal of
John Winter< no role > of Ford Hook house in the Parish
of Ealing in the County of Middlesex aforesaid
Esquire

Sheweth

That your Petitioner reason or about the Thirty first day
of March last convicted by Nathaniel Bland< no role > Esquire one of the
Justices of the Peace for the said County upon on Information
exhibited and prosecuted by George Tilley< no role > of Old Brentford in the
Parish of Ealing in the County of Middlesex aforesaid Yeoman
charging that your Petitioner did on the Twentyninth day March
1794 unlawfully use of cause to be used alert upon a certain
Tirnpike Road at Old Brentford in the Parish of Ealing in the County
of Middlesex aforesaid the Sole or Bottom of the Fellies of the
Whools of which said Cart being of Sess Breadth or Guage than
six Inches and then and there did pass or was drawn with
more than three Houses (that is to say) with four Horses and
was adjudged to forfeit for the said offence the Sum of Five Pounds
Whereby your Petitioner conceives himself to be aggrieved

your Petitioner therefore humbly Appeals
against the adjudication of the said Justice
And prays that your Worships will be pleased
to Order that the benefit of this his Appeal
may be saved unto him & that the hearing
and determining thereof may be adjourned
Until the next General Quarter Session of the
Peace to be holden for this County
