Middlesex


To the worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex assembled
at their General Quarter Session of the Peace
for the said County by Adjournment on
Monday the twenty eighth day of October
1793.

The Humble Petition of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Downham Market in the County of Norfolk

Sheweth


That on the twenty second Day of
June last an Order was made by Charles
Sheppard
< no role > Esq and the Revd. Thomas Lockwood< no role >
Clerk two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the said County of Middlesex
for the Removal of Marianne Coles< no role > Single
woman and her Female Bastard Child namely
Lucy Sarah< no role > of aged three years for Nurture
from the Parish of Saint Mary lebone in
the County of Middlesex aforesaid to the
said Parish of Downham Market

That on or about the sixth day of
July last the said Pauper and her Female
Bastard Child were removed accordingly.

That the last Place of legal Settlement
of the said Pauper Marianne Coles< no role > as your
Petitioners have been informed and believe
