of September Last as this Deponent hath since been informed
by the saidMallam and as appears by a Memorandum
indorsed on the said Order and signed by the said William Morgan< no role >
and John Clarke< no role > respectively And this Deponent further saith
that the said Order of the said In William Gibbons< no role > and Thomas
Wood
< no role > Esquire having been on Complied with as aforesaid
he this Deponent on Behalf of the said John Barney< no role > did
apply to the said John Clarke< no role > and William Morgan< no role >
Churchwarden and Oversees of the Poor of the Parish of
Sunbury aforesaid to consent to the said John Barney< no role > and
his said Sureties being discharged from then said
Recognizance at this present Sessions when they Severally
and respectively said they had no Objection thereto but
begged this Deponent to call on their Solicitor Mr. Tollemach
of Richmond in the County of Surry by whose Determination
they should abide as the Business had been wholly entrusted
to his Care And this Deponent further saith that he did on
Saturday Last apply at the House of the said Mr.Tollemach
but he was from home and Yesterday he called again
when he must with him and this Deponent acquainted
him with his said Conference with the said Churchwarden
and Oversees of the Parish of Sunday aforesaid and
requested him to consent on the Past of the said Parish
of Sunbury to the said Recognizance during discharged last
he having received no Direction for that Purpose from the
Parish Officers of Sunbury aforesaid declined doing it And
this Deponent further saith that he then presssed the said Mr.
Tollemach to Consent to the said Recognizance being repited
but he refused to give any Consent at all without first
Consulting his Clients which Time would not then permit him
to do but said he saw no Objection to the same being respited
as it would afford the said John Barney< no role > an Opportunity of
Compromising with the said Parish Officers if he was inclined.
