The Churchwardens and Oversees of the
Poor of the Parish of Sunbury in the
County of Middlesex
and

Gentleman Solicitor for the abovenamed John Barney< no role >
maketh Oath and Saith that in July Last past the said
John Barney< no role > did with two Sureties order into a
Recognizance beforeLane Esquire one of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said
County of Middlesex for his personal Appearence at
the then next Sessions to be hold at Hicks Hall on
Clerkenwell Green in and for the said County of Middlesex
then and these to abide by and perform such Order as the
Justices in the said Sessions Assemble should make of
and Concerning a female Bastard Child born of the Body
of Elizabeth Alsop< no role > in the said Parish of Sunbury And
this Deponent further saith that previous to the said
Sessions Sir William Gibbons< no role > Baronet and Thomas
wood
< no role > the younger Esquire two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County one whereof is of
the Quorum and both residing next unto the Limits of
the Parish Church within the Parish of Sunbury aforesaid
did make this Order in the Promises bearing Date the
twenty ninth Day of August last and did thereby adjudge
the said John Barney< no role > to be the reputed Father of the said
Bastard Child and they did thereby order and direct the
said John Barney< no role > to pau to the Churchwardens and
Oversees of the Poor of the said Parish of Sunbury the
sum of Seven Pounds and one Sailing for and towards
