The Humble Petition
and Appeal of the
Churchwardens & Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of
Christ Church Newgate
Street in the City of London

Sheweth

That by virtue of an order or pass warrant
under the hands and seals of John Scott< no role > , and Philip Neve< no role > , two of his Majesties
Justices of the peace in and for the said County of Middlesex (one whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing date the 3d. day of July last Elizabeth
Crampton< no role > was removed and conveyed from the Parish of Saint
George Hanover Square within the Liberty of westminster in the said
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Christ Church as the place of
her last legal settlement whereby your Petitioner's conceive themselves
aggrieved in that part of the order which adjudges the last legal settlement
of the said Elizabeth Crampton< no role > to be in the said Parish of Christ Church

Your Petitioner's therefore appeal
against the sd order and humbly pray relief in
the Premises & that your Worship's will be
pleased to appoint same day in the present
Session's for the hearing and determining this
their sd. appeal

And your Petitioner's will ever pray Etc.
