WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
us two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
acting in and for the County of Middlesex afore
said (one whereof being of the Quorum), by the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Saint Sepulchre: That Jane
Smith< no role > the Wife of John Smith< no role >
who has deserted her
lately intruded, and
came into the said Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the
County of Middlesex not having Gained a legal Settlement there and is become charge
able to the same: We the said Justices, upon Ex
amination of the Premises upon Oath, and other
Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true, and
do also adjudge, that the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Jane Smith< no role >

is in the Parish of Saint Margaret in
the City of Rochester in the County of Kent

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to
require you the said Church-Wardens and Over
seers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Sepul
chre , on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the
said Jane Smith< no role >

from and out of your said Parish of Saint Sepulcher ,
to the said Parish of Saint Margaret in
the said City of Rochester
and her deliver unto the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some or one
of them, together with this our Order, or a true
Copy hereof, who are hereby required to receive
and provide for her according to Law.
