AT the General quarter Session of the Peace of [..]
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session House for the said County, (by adjournment)
on Thursday the Twenty Seventh Day of June in the
Thirty third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign [..]
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc.

Whereas William Perry< no role > of Hillingdon in the County of Middlesex doctor
of Physic Hath at this present Session Exhibited his Petition and appeal setting
forth That a certain Rate or Assessment was made on or about the 23d. day of May
last for the relief of the Poor of the Parish of Chiswick in the County of Middlesex
which said Rate was not published in the Church untill Sunday the 16th. day of
June Instant: That the Petitioner verily believed that several Inhabitants of the
said Parish who ought to contribute and be rated to the maintenance of the Poor
of the said Parish were totally omitted to be charged in the said Rate and others
of the said Inhabitants were rated considerably less than they ought to be in
regard to their property within the said Parish whilst the Petitioner who held
considerable property and [..] wrate Release to me Poor of me said Parish and others
within the said Parish were thereby overrated and aggrieved; whereupon at the
request of the said Petitioner It is Ordered that the benefit of his said Appeal should
he saved unto him and the hearing and determining thereof be and the same is hereby
adjourned untill the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for this
County and on notice hereof in the mean time to be given unto the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Chiswick they and all Persons
concerned do attend the Court at the Session House aforesaid on Thursday the
Thirty first day of October next at the hour of nine in the forenoon of the same
day to hear and abide the Judgment and determination of the said Court touching
the said Appeal.
