To the Worshipful His Majesties Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex and
City and Liberty of Westminster in their
General Session of the Peace for the sd County
City and Liberty assembled.

The Humble Petition & appeal
of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Leonard Foster lane in the City of
London

Sheweth


That by virtue of an order or Pass
Warrant under the hands and seals ofAddington and &
MitchellEsquires two of his Majesties Justices
of the Peace acting in and for the said City and liberty. (one whereof being of
the quorum) bearing date the 27th day of May 1793. Jane Partin< no role >
wife of John Partin< no role > . (gone to sea ) was removed and conveyed from and
out of the Parish of Saint Martin in the fields within the liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex aforesaid to the Parish of Saint
Leonard Foster lane in the City of London as the place of the last
legal Settlement of the said John Partin< no role > and Jane< no role > his wife whereby
your Petitioner's conceive themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioner's
therefore humbly pray that the benefit
of their sd appeal may be reserved to
them & that a day may be appointed
in the next General Quarter Session of
the Peace to be holden for the sd. County
for the hearing & determining the said
appeal & that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Martin in the fields he then [..]
there required to attend to hear & abide
the Judgmt & determination of the Court
touching the sd appeal

And your Petrs. shall ever pray to
