To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. James, at Clerkenwell , in the County of
Middlesex ; and to the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary Abbott
Kensington in the said County

to wit.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us,
whole Hands and Seals are hereunto set, being
Two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
County of Middlesex , (One whereof being of the Quo-
rum,) by the Church-Wardens or Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. James, at Clerkenwell , in the said Coun-
ty, That Ann Wamer< no role > and her two Children Vizt.
Mary Ann< no role > Aged one years and William< no role > aged one Month

lately came to inhabit in the said Parish of St. James at
Clerkenwell , not having gained any legal Settlement
there, nor produced any Certificate acknowledging them
to be settled elsewhere, and they are Likely tobecome
chargeable to the said Parish: We, the said Jusitces, upon
Examination of the Premises upon Oath, and other Cir-
cumstanes, do adjudge the same to be true, and do also
adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, and by
Virtue of the Statutes in that Behalf, to require your,
on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the said

From and out of your said Parish of St. James at Clerken-
well , the said Parish of Samp Mary Abbott Kensington
and them deliver to the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together
with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them
according to Law.
Given under our Hands and Seals this faith
Day of Mayin the Year of Our Lord One
thousand Seven Hundred and ninety three.
