The Sheriff of the County of Middlesex having
produced and shown to this Court a certain that of
Execution issuing out of the Court of Common Pleas at Westminster at the
Suit of John Bell< no role > tested the 12th. day of Febuary last
whereby the said Sheriff is Commanded that of the Goods and
Chattells of the Inhabitants of the Hundred of ossulston in
yearhis County because to be levied Forty Six Pounds Eight Shillings which John Bell< no role >
in the said Court before the Justices a Westminster recovered
against John Highinbottom< no role > and Richard Towne< no role > tar of the
Inhabitants of the said Hundered farther Damages [..] which
he had sustained by occasion of a certain trespass and Riot
done to the said John Bell< no role > and whereof the said John Highinbottom< no role >
and Richard Towne< no role > were Convicted andthis Court [..]
that due proof upon Oath having been made before this
Court that the just and necessary Expences which the said
John Highinbottom< no role > and Richard Towne< no role > as Inhabitants of the
said Hundred, have been at in defending such action have
been Taxed by the proper offices of the said Court at and amount
to the Sum of £9.4.9 And this Court being of opinion that
to assess and Tax rateably and proportionably all & every the
Towns Parishes villages Hamlets and places of the said Hunderd ossulston
according to the direction of the several Statutes amount case made
and provided tosatisfy theraise the saidfromseveral sums
of £46.8.0 and 9.4.9 would be attended with very great
Trouble [..] and Expence upon the Inhabitants of the
said Hunderd Do hereby Order that Mr Joseph Birchall< no role > the
County Treasurer do forthwith pay the said sums of £46.8.0
and 9.6.9 out of the County to Rate to the several persons
carefuly intitle to Received the same
