WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for
the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the
Quorum), by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields , in the
said County, That Elizabeth White< no role > Widow of
Alexander White< no role > and her three Children by her
said late Husband namely Agnes< no role > aged Nine Years
and an half Robert< no role > aged Six Years and
upwards and Sampson< no role > aged Four Years
and upwards have
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
there, contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
said Justices, and we do adjudge that they are likely
to become chargeable to the said Parish; and upon Exa-
mination of the Premises taken upon Oath, and other Cir-
cumstances, it further appeareth unto us, and we do like-
wise adjudge, that the parish of Woodford in the
County of Essex
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Elizabeth White< no role > and her
said Three Children

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields , forth-
with to remove and convey the said Elizabeth White< no role >
and her said Three Children
from the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields , to the
said Parish of Woodford
and deliver them to the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, who are
hereby required to provide for them according to Law.
Given under our Hands and Seals the 11th Day
of January 1793

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the respective Parishes of
Saint Giles in the Fields , in the County
of Middlesex , and Woodford in the
County of Essex
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
