Parker
< no role > for an Assault

Sarah Nevitt< no role > of Queen Ann Street East in the
County of Middlesex the above named Defendant and John
Newton
< no role > of Margaret Street Cavendish Square in the said
County of Middlesex Surgeon and Apothecary severaly make
outh as follows and first this Deponent Sarah Nevitt< no role > For
herself saith that one Sarah Lewis< no role > who is a material
and necessary Witness for this Deponent upon the Trial of
the above Indictment and without whose testimony she
Cannot safeby proceed to the Trial thereof is now extremely
indisposed and unable to attend at the present Session of
the peace And further Saith that she was not apprised of
the indisposition of the said Sarah Lewis< no role > until Friday last
and that Notice for the Trial of te said Indictment was
given on the Wednesday proceeding And this Deponent
John Newton< no role > for himself saith that the said Sarah Lewis< no role >
is now confined to her Bed with a violent sore throat
and fever and that he now attend her for the same and
that she cannot at present leave her room without the
greatest dauger of losing her life but believes that the
said Sarah Lewis< no role > may be able to attend at the ensuing
sessions in April next And further saith that he did on
Saturday last personally serve the above named prosecutrix
with a true Copy of the notice hereto annexed
