WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for
the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the
Quorum), by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields , in the
said County, That Jane Lee< no role > Singlewoman
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to Settle
there, contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
said Justices, and we do adjudge that She is likely
to become chargeable to the said Parish; and upon Exa-
mination of the Premises taken upon Oath, and other Cir-
cumstances, it further appeareth unto us, and we do like-
wife adjudge, that the Parish of St Gregory by
St. Paul in the City of London
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Jane Lee< no role >

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields , forth-
with to remove and convey the said Jane Lee< no role >

from the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields , to the
said Parish of St. Gregory by St. Paul
and deliver her to the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, who are
herebv required to provide for her according to Law.
Given under our Hands and Seals the13thDay
of November 17 92

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the respective Parishes of
Saint Giles in the Fields , in the County
of Middlesex , and St Gregory by St.
Paul in the City of London
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
