MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the said
County, () on Monday
the Second Day of July
in the Thirty second Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc Before William Mainwaring< no role > , William
Bleamire
< no role > , Nathaniel Conant< no role > , Charles Sheppard< no role >
Esqures , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid; and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles in
the fields in the said County Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition and
Appeal setting forth That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals
of William Tylor< no role > and William Jones< no role > Esquires two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace acting
in and for the City and Liberty of Westminster in the said County bearing date the twentieth
day of June last Isabella Porter< no role > Singlewoman was removed and conveyed from and out of the
Parish of Saint James within the Liberty of Westminster aforesaid to the said Parish of
St Giles in the fields as the place of her last legal settlement whereby the Petitioners conceived
themselves aggrieved

Now, upon hearing the said Appeal, and what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parishes, their Counsel and Witnesses in
and concerning the Premises, IT IS ORDERED, that the said Appeal be, and the same is
hereby allowed, and the said Order of the said two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside;
and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Giles in the fields do forthwith convey and
deliver back the said Isabella Porter< no role >
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint James Westminster who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the said Isabella Porter< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law.
