MIDDLESEX


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the said
County, () on Monday
the Second Day of July
in the Thirty second Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain Etc. Before William Mainwaring< no role > , William
Bleamire
< no role > , Nathaniel Conant< no role > , Charles Sheppard< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid; and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwarden and Overseer of the Poor of the Parish of Havering in
the LIberty of Havering atte Bower in the County of Essex Have at this
present Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by a
Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of John Spiller< no role > and Rupert
Clarke
< no role > Esquires two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County of
Middlesex bearing date 16th. day of June last Elizabeth Eldridge< no role > Singlewoman
was removed and conveyed from the Parish of Saint John at Hackney in the said
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Havering as the place of the legal settlement of
the said Elizabeth Eldridge< no role > , whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved

Now, upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses in
and concerning the Premises, IT IS ORDERED, that the said Appeal be, and the same is
hereby allowed, and the said Order of the said two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside;
and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Churchwarden and Overseer of the Poor
of the said Parish of Havering do forthwith convey and
deliver back the said Elizabeth Eldridge< no role >
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint John at Hackney who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the said Elizabeth Eldridge< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law.
