MIDDLESEX


AT the GeneralSession of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session House for the said County, (by adjournment)
on Thursday the Twenty fourth Day of Mayin
the Thirty secondYear of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before
William Mainwaring< no role > ), William Bleamire< no role > , Nathaniel Conant< no role >
Charles Sheppard< no role >
Esquires , and other their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Moor Critchill in the County
of Dorset Did at the last General Quarter Session of the Peace held in and for this County Exhibit their
Petition and Appeal setting foth That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and
Seals of Samuel Glasse< no role > Doctor in Divinity and William Steckford< no role > Esquire two of His Majestys Justices of the
Peace acting and for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Qarum) bearing date the
twenty first day of February last-Thomas White< no role > together with his Wife Anne< no role > and his three Children
Vizt Lydia< no role > aged light Years James< no role > aged four Years and Jane< no role > aged Fifteen Months were removed and
conveyed from the Parish of Greenford in the said County of Middlesex to the Parish of Moor Critchill
aforesaid as the place of their last legal settlement whereby the Peititoners conceived themselves aggreived
which said Appeal stood duly adjourned until this day Now the said Appeal coming on to be
heard at the request of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Greenford
and by and with the consent of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of
Moor Critchill It is Ordered that the said Order or Pass Warrant of the said two Justices be and the
same is hereby Quashed and It is Critchill do forthwith convey and deliver back the said Thomas
White
< no role > with his Wife Anne and their said three Children together with a Copy of this Order
unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Greenford who are hereby
required to receive and provide for the said Thomas White< no role > his Wife Anne and their said three
Children until they can free themselves from the charge thereof by due course of Law.
