Who on his Oath saith That he is of the Age of thirty four
Years and by Trade a Cordwainer
and lives in Church
Street
in the said Parish of Saint John Hackney
and got his living by Shoe making and Saith That there
said peace of his Settlement is in the said arish of
Saint John Hackney
by renting a house at the Yearly
since of Thirteen guinean per Annum for three Years

Who on his Oath Saith that the said John Brown< no role >
is a Rogue
and Vagabond within the Description of the Act Parliament in
that Case made and provided to wit for having after the passing of
a certain Act Parliament in filled an Act to render more effectual the
Laws now in being for suppressing Lawfull Lotteries to wit on the Third
day of March in the Year of our Lord 1791 received and taken of this
Examination the Sum of one Shilling and seven pence and
Promising to repay to him the said william Wightman< no role >
the Sum
of one Guniea if a certain Ticket No 137 in the present State
Lottery should he Drawn a Blank or prize on the Twenty first
day of drawing of the said Lottery and saith That
the Insurance of the said Ticket was made with the said John Brown< no role >
at a Pubic House in the said Parish of Saint John Hackney
on Thursday the 3 rd March Inst and Examination paid this said money
to the said John Brown< no role >
