MIDDLESEX .


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, ( by adjournment)
on Thursday the Twenty eighty Day of October in the
Thirty First Year of the Regin of our Sovereign Lord
George the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring

Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours Committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Saint James at
Clerkenwell Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition and appeal setting forth
That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of the Revd. HR: Courteney and George
Reid
< no role > Esquire two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the City and Liberty of
Westminster in the said County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the 15th day
of September 1790 John Nunnelly< no role > and Mary < no role > his wife their four Children (Vizt) John< no role >
aged near six Years, Sarah < no role > aged Four Years Rebecca< no role > aged near Three Years and Mary< no role >
aged Six Months were removed and conveyed from the Parish of Saint George Hanover
square within the Liberty of Westminster in the said County to the said Parish of Saint
James at Clerkenwell as the place of their last legal settlement whereby the Petitioners
conceived themselves aggrieved Now upon hearing the said Appeal and that hath been
alledged by the repective Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parishes
their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the Premises It is Ordered that the
said appeal be and the same is hereby allowed and the said Order of the said two
Justices is hereby vacated and set aside and It is further Ordered that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell do forthwith
convey and deliver back the said John Numbelly Mary his wife and their said Four
Children (together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the said Parish of Saint George Hanover Square who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the said John Nunnely Mary his Wife and their said Four
Children until they can free themselves from the charge thereof by due course of Law
